I Have a Blog!

Over the time that I’ve had this website, I’ve discovered a love for writing for the web. My history of Questar telescopes, my recommendations for beginner astronomers, my various photography reviews, and many other articles were in many ways opportunities for me to express myself in a crisp way.

But there are times when I want to articulate thoughts and experiences that don’t fit neatly with the type of long-form articles that appear throughout this website. In the past, I’ve turned to discussion forums at Cloudy Nights or DP Review when I had something to say about astronomy or photography, my two main hobbies. But I slowly came to realize that a better place to do this may be my own website.

Seeking an outlet for those occasions when I want to explore an idea or describe an encounter—any idea or encounter whether it concerns my hobbies or any other interest I may have—it became clear to me that it was time for me to start a blog.

I’ll be adding more as time passes, and I hope you’ll come back here often!
