I am continuously amazed by how much a place utterly transforms when night falls upon it. If photography is writing by light, the artist who uses it at night faces a tremendous technical challenge because there is so very little of it to work with. Still, nighttime gives us an opportunity to explore even familiar surroundings in new ways.
