Whenever I’m out and about with my Nikon F and someone notices it, I often can’t resist gushing about it. But that classic film SLR is not the only horse in my photographic stable.

For the past several months, I have also been using a Nikon FM10, an inexpensive mass-produced camera that Nikon began retailing in the mid-1990s. I acquired my example in June of last year, and I have to say that it is a delight to shoot with.

I love writing about equipment that pushes all the right buttons for me, and the Nikon FM10 certainly does that. It’s a surprisingly capable piece of gear that deserves a serious look.

If you have any interest in this unique Nikon-branded (but not Nikon-produced) film camera, have a look at this most recent addition to my collection of photography reviews.
