Something different than the usual window reflection selfie.

I was excited to get my most recent round of film back from the developer today because there were quite a few images I was excited to see for the first time.

But this one was an unexpected keeper, one I shot in front of a local vintage shop on an overcast afternoon:

TV selfie — Nikon F with Nikkor-S 50mm f/1.4 lens, Ilford HP5 Plus 400 film, 1/60 sec., f/2.8.

I have been a little down on ASA 400-speed film in general. But thanks to the generous gift from a friend, I gave Ilford HP5 Plus another shot, and I’m now rethinking how I feel about it.

I’m still in the process of scanning my negatives, and I’m eagerly looking forward to seeing the rest of my most recent film work.
